What GymTracking is

GymTracking is a training log for your phone. Instead of writing on paper or in a loose note, you get your routine organized by day, with the sets and reps for each exercise and a technique video one tap away. Every time you finish an exercise you check it off, and that log feeds a monthly calendar where you see which days you trained and how much.

How it works

  1. Pick or build a routine. Start with one of our ready-made routines or create your own: tell GymTracking how many days you train, the focus of each day and how much time you have, and it suggests the exercises.
  2. Check off what you do. At the gym, tick each exercise when you finish it. If a machine is taken, swap the exercise for another one that trains the same muscle group.
  3. See your progress. The calendar shows your training days for the month. Tap a day to see what you did, and log your weight to follow the trend on its own chart.

Built for training around sore joints

Every exercise in the catalog lists the joints it loads: ankle, knee, hip, lower back, shoulder, elbow, wrist or neck. If something bothers you, filter out the exercises that load it and build a routine that respects it. For example, the low-impact routines skip squats, lunges and jumps.
